We recommend having a helper with you to make the installation a bit smoother. Decals as large as these are sometimes difficult to hang by yourself.
Step 1
- Open the Package and lay the Decal face down and allow it to relax for an hour minimum.
- Review any enclosed information.
Step 2
- Pick a spot for your Growth Chart Fun decal.
- Take a moment to view and measure the area. (It's a good idea to hold up the decal to the spot and make sure it is centered and level).
- The Growth Chart Decal adheres best to clean, smooth, indoor surfaces.
Step 3
- Clean the surface. Use a warm damp cloth to wipe down the designated area.
- Allow it to dry completely.
- Do not use soaps or cleaning agents, they cause the decal to not adhere in-properly.
Step 4
- Lay the decal face down on a flat surface.
- Start at the top of your decal and SLOWLY peel the backing.
**DO NOT! allow the decal to touch itself. (I repeat DO NOT! You will be cursing. BE PATIENT and go slow) It will pay off in the end.** - Place one corner of the decal down and gently smooth the rest of the top into place using minimal pressure.
- If it doesn’t look or feel right, gently peel the decal off the wall and reposition it. (Take your time it will look great.)
- Larger decals come with a plastic squeegee to help remove the air bubbles/ wrinkles.
- Start to squeegee gently from the middle out to the edges. (Old t-shirts, soft cloths, towels, etc. work great also)
